Ana Hickmann was born on March 1, 1981 in Santa Cruz
do Sul, Brazil. Her parents were German immigrants and worked as
farmers - Ana was picking up hen eggs and planting strawberries
in her youth.
At age 13 she started modeling and took part in local beauty pageants.
In 1996 she took part in a model contest and was one of three girls
who won a modelling contract. Soon she was one of the world's top
models and worked for Cia Maritima, Versace, Golden Lady, La Perla,
Nivea, Wella and Victoria's Secret's Very Sexy campaign.
Beside of modelling, Ana has her own photo studio and a collection
of fashion and cosmetic articles.
She is the model with the longest leg of all - 48" (122 cm)
of her 72,8" (185 cm) height are legs. (Though some claim she's
only 71" (180 cm) with 46" (117 cm) long legs - too bad
i can't measure it myself!)
She's often referred to as 'Hickman' but her actual name is Hickmann
